An approaching storm adds drama to the scene in the early afternoon on this spring day. Green River Overlook, Canyonlands National Park, Utah.

Technical. Canon 5D mark 2 21-megapixel digital camera, 28-135 mm IS lens at 44 mm, f/8, ISO 100, 1/100 second, manual exposure. This is a 2-frame mosaic, 8587 x 4064 pixels. Raw capture recorded the high dynamic range. Image at 12:54 pm local time shows you can get good images at any time of the day.
