The harvest moon rises over the town of Oia, on the island of Santorini, Greece.
Technical. Canon 5D Mark II 21-megapixel camera, 28-135 mm IS lens at 98 mm f/8, 120 seconds, ISO 100. Out-of camera jpeg for preview of coming images. This frame is one from a large mosaic including high dynamic range that will show details on the moon as well as in the town and the water in the crater.
