The Chateau des ducs de Bretagne (English: Castle of the Dukes of Brittany), dating from 1207 and rebuilt in 1466 now houses the Nantes History Museum and surrounded by a park setting. At night the castle is beautifully illuminated.
Technical. Canon 5D Mark II 21 megapixel digital camera, 28-135 mm IS lens. ISO 200, 13 seconds at 28 mm f/8, three-frame mosaic, with a 4th image a 2-second exposure for the high dynamic range (HDR) highlights. Final image is 6099 x 8352 pixels. processing included perspective correction. In the full resolution image, hundreds of stars appear in the sky.
